What is Pringle Scott?

It is a Missouri-based limited-liability consulting company that was founded by Alastair Pringle in 2009.  It specializes in consulting on process, quality, and microbiology issues in the food and beverage industry.  

What type of clients does Pringle-Scott work with?

We work with small family-owned companies to large international companies.  We have worked with food companies, food ingredients companies, craft and regional breweries, and non-alcoholic beverage companies.  In addition, we have experience in providing expert testimony in legal cases.

Who works for Pringle-Scott?

The principal consultant is Alastair Pringle, Ph.D.  who has over 30 years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry.  He is supported by specialists in insurance, billing, accounting, and legal matters.  If you would like, we can also refer you to professionals we trust if your project is out of our area of expertise.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes, we carry both Errors and Omissions and Professional Liability insurance.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Yes, we will provide both a Consulting Agreement and an NDA for your review.

How much does consulting cost?

Hourly consulting rates for are competitive for your industry.  We will supply a quote within 24 hours of your request.  Travel to your business is billed at 50% of that rate.

How will I be billed?

You will be billed either monthly or every three months depending on the amount of consulting you require.  All Invoices will be sent by email.

What are your billing terms?

We appreciate payment within 30 days after the receipt of an invoice.  We are a small company and following up on unpaid invoices takes time away from consulting.
